To save others some time: this mail isn't related to Bay Area Debian at all.
The page mentions "ubuntu", but it appears to be referring to the philosophy
that everybody's favorite cosmonaut named a Debian derivative after, not the
derivative itself.

Since the last happy fun argument about whether Ubuntu-the-distro is on-topic
was less than a year ago, I'll eschew that and instead point out that perhaps
emailing a mailing list for a group of Linux distro users about an unrelated
political event is not the best idea, and could be avoided in future :)
