Jim,
Do you have any more information on the approximate volume of text
you're looking for for each group, e.g. min., max., and recommended
sizes, to get things to fit reasonably well together, and look good
overall?
Anyway, (at least) draft information below. Others may also improve
upon such and/or provide additional or better information. Hmmmm, got
wiki to assemble such on? - that might make putting 'em together a bit
easier and more "self-serve".
Bay Area Debian (BAD)
* Where do you hold your meetings (address, any other
info about access)?
San Francisco Bay Area - location varies - see the
"Shotgun Rules" on the web site + publicly archived list emails for past
and current month, apply algorithm from "Shotgun Rules" and you'll then
know where and specific time for upcoming meeting if in fact upcoming
meeting is yet set to occur; doesn't necessarily meet every month, but
in most recent years has been meeting about half of the months.
* When do you hold your meetings (probably a particular
day of the month, e.g. third Tuesday), include day
and also time?
2nd Wednesdays, evening - when the meetings actually happen - see
location information for more about that.
* What's the format of your meetings (regular speaker
or meet and greet or support for users or all of
the above or ...)?
Most commonly informal discussion over dinner at some restaurant,
but format varies somewhat, and venue/location can vary quite a bit.
* Does your group have a web site? If so, please
provide the URL.
http://bad.debian.net/
* Are you interested in getting speakers for your
meetings?
Mostly not applicable (though sometimes we might have or include
something quite Debian specific - e.g. optional Debian technical
talk/presentation part of meeting before scheduled move to optional
dinner part of meeting at nearby venue).
