(S.F.) Free hardware: sun4u Sun Ultra 2 & Magma ...

Only have one of these to give away. If you're interested, drop me a
note to my *work* e-mail address, which you can determine by applying
rot13(6) to:
cnbyvzvp at jryyfsnetb.pbz
or use tr(1), e.g.:
$ echo cnbyvzvp at jryyfsnetb.pbz | tr '[A-Za-z]' '[N-ZA-Mn-za-m]'
Please do include the original subject line within the subject line of
your reply. It also wouldn't hurt to give me a sentence or two or three
about what you wish to do with the hardware, in case I get multiple
requests for the hardware and have to pick one among them.

Pickup - pickup would need to be arranged for in advance, may be limited
to "business hours", and location is South of Market Area (SOMA), San
Francisco (not too far from 5th & Mission).

The system includes 3 hard drives (some internal, some external),
and also includes Magma hardware for lots of serial ports ... except some
of the Magma hardware doesn't work ... but one can probably still squeeze
at least 16 working serial ports out of the Magma hardware - with the
appropriate driver(s) and such. It probably won't include
monitor/keyboard/mouse. It doesn't include any operating system or
operating system media. It may or may not include some Magma
documentation/drivers/accessories.

The information below provides at least some more information on the
hardware and related details:
