Hi. Since I made my offer privately I wasn't expecting your response on a
public list. Not even a cc. Good thing I read the list or I might have
missed it entirely!

You're right that we haven't met, but I've been a contributing editor at
Linux Journal for a year. It's not like I'm a total unknown. Still, if you
have security concerns I guess I can understand your reluctance to give me a
guest account. Just responding to your call for volunteers, it was your
idea.

I've already posted a notice on this list that we will have another Berkeley
BAD + BUUG meeting next month on the first Thursday, February 7th, at 7pm,
at Au Coquelet. Will you be adding that notice on the BAD page?

Reaching rough consensus as you suggest sounds like a fine idea. However,
the officers of the Bay Area Debian group are not listed on the Web page. I
don't know who I am supposed to reach consensus with. Please name the
officers.
