\      /   Mozilla organization has DROPPED the BALL. Dropped the
|  (X \x)  ball right on its FOOT, blowing the game-winning OUT,

            dork, and so on and so forth.

Fuck, sports metaphors always throw me off my stride. The fact is that
there's not going to be the traditional Mozilla Dot Party this year,
and I've already screeded about this, and here's the deal:

ANYWAYS, it has become CLEARLY APPARENT that if we're going to have
any Mozilla Dot Fun we're going to have to do it our Mozilla Dot
Selves. THEREFORE and HENCEFORTH it is resolved that this Thursday,
April 5th, for ONE DAY ONLY, the regularly scheduled Thursday Night is
Pigdog Night will be designated appropriately as....

an instance of Thursday Night is Pigdog Night at Zeitgeist. Because
Zeitgeist is a biker bar and not a gross silk-shirt nightclub like the
Sound Factory, Mozilla Not Party will feature...

         * No big dance floors!
         * No crazy performance groups!
         * No scrolling walls full of Mozilla code!
         * No 8-foot-tall styrofoam dinosaur monsters!
         * No cage dancing!
         * No schwag giveaways!
         * No organization to speak of!

What it WILL have is fun people, who drink too much, and wear lab
coats, and are bitter and angry and interesting. Come and bemoan the
state of Open Source parties in general and Mozilla Dot Party in
particular! Drink big gobs of Guinness in a welcoming area!

Zeitgeist is found at 199 Valencia Street in San Francisco at the
corner of Valencia and Duboce. We'll be commencing festivities at
9:00PM and will continue until the lights go off and the degenerate
barbacks come kick us out into the alley.

FREE. If you bring a pig AND a dog, you win a 10-minute lap dance in
