Quoting Elizabeth Krumbach (lyz at princessleia.com):

> Hi everyone,

First, thank you very much for doing this, and especially for doing this
well in advance.

If you'll pardon a modest suggestion, Evan Prodromou's 'Shotgun Rules'
(http://bad.debian.net/shotgun_rules.txt) are linked from the BAD front
page, and are widely respected as the way to do a meeting announcement
so that it's most likely to lead to a good and well-attended meeting.
You might want to send out a slight revision. Here is a model you
might use: http://bad.debian.net/list/2009-July/003318.html

(OTOH, Evan's rules are neither sacred nor perfect. For example, he
said nothing about announcing meetings well in advance, which _you_ did
-- again, thanks -- and which Evan probably thought was not worth
spending time on. The result is that some alleged BAD announcements
have gone out 1/2 day before the alleged meeting, with predictably bad
rather than BAD results.)
