Debian mentors visiting Bay Area - can you help?

Hi everybody,

Each time Debian participates in GSoC, Google generously pays for two
mentors to come to the GSoC mentor summit in October.

The summit itself is 12-14 October.

This provides a good opportunity for mentors to meet other people and
attend other events in the region and some even like to travel for a few
days.  The mentors selected this year are coming from outside the US, I
think it is their first visit there.

Can anybody local assist with any of the following?

- suggesting events, big or small, in the week before or week after the
summit: any time between 6 - 21 October, with a particular emphasis on
the days 9-11 October

- any help with accommodation, even if it is only one night, it makes a
big difference

- meeting one of them at the airport and welcoming them to the region

- any social or sightseeing opportunities
