2.1 would  be relatively  simple with budget subs  such as the Polk PSW10. However, with a 5.1 setup, you would have to get  a  receiver to support a 5.1 signal via your source's digital  out. I have  noticed  that you  haven't purchased  anything yet, if you have  decided to expand to 2.1/5.1 in the future, is  it possible  for you to expand your budget?
