Twitter https://twitter.com/#!/BALUG_org ------------------------------ For our 2016-11-15 BALUG meeting: Discussion Topic: We do have suggested discussion topic area for this meeting: Domain Name System Security Extensions (DNSSEC)[1] So, come join us, learn some things about why DNSSEC is important, how it's used, dos and don'ts for implementing it, some of the various ways to implement it and relevant considerations, how to check if one already has DNSSEC available and is using it or not, which domains are and aren't DNSSEC enabled, DNSSEC adoption around the world, additional cool and useful things that can be done with DNSSEC, etc. Michael Paoli will be leading this discussion - he has not only well over a decades experience with Linux, but has also been managing and administering DNS well over a decade, and also now has some fair bit of practical hands-on experience implementing DNSSEC. "Of course" that doesn't mean we're limited to the above, but expect we'll probably be at least touching upon those.
