Thanks, yes, one would think :-)
... but unfortunately that doesn't work.  :-/  Been there, done that.
.jigdo & .template files - that's theoretically how to rebuild the
ISOs back to 3.0r0 - and presumably what is/was the intent.
Unfortunately many of the 3.0r0 .deb files are missing from
archive.debian.org.  Specifically (listed further below), there are 55
.deb files I still need that aren't on archive.debian.org.  Seems
archive.debian.org goes back well into 3.0rX where X is approximately 3
or so, but not earlier than that.  So apparently files that
hadn't been superseded by later 3.0rX updates are still there, whereas
those that had been superseded by the time the data for archive.debain.org
was apparently preserved and saved - well, the earlier files are apparently
not there to be found on archive.debian.org.
To show random example ...
$ expr 1 + \( $RANDOM % 55 \)
39
$
If we pick the 39th file in the list further below, we have ...
$ sed -ne 39p missing_components_missing_debs
libkrb53_1.2.4-5_i386.deb
$
but that's not to be found.
Ought be at:
http://archive.debian.org/debian-archive/debian/pool/main/k/krb5/libkrb53_1.2.4-5_i386.deb
but not there ... closest I found on that one was:
http://us.cdimage.debian.org/jigdo-area/3.0_r0/snapshot/pool/main/k/krb5/libkrb53_1.2.4-5woody4_i386.deb
but that won't do for completing the 3.0r0 ISO.

I did also try all of the mirrors of archive.debian.org for some of the
files I couldn't find on archive.debian.org - no better luck with the
mirrors - at least with the files I tried.
