Isn't it time to ask Mr. Bad if a John Regan clause shouldn't be
appended to his Shotgun Rules?  Maybe:

RULE 8:  Meetings shall be announced no less than a week in advance;
else, no planning and outreach are possible.

We shouldn't even even need to list all of the _other_ ways in which
this non-planned event is deficient, but one would start with absence
of a confirmed-available venue.
