meeting during AGU

hi,

i live near 24th St Bart station (5 minutes from downtown)

I know Christian Stiegles as builder of my 68k debian kernels.
I have two of these at home running lenny, one is semi-portable
(minus a monitor it fits in my book bag with my g4 laptop).

ancient macs, quadra630 and 605.

my health is not so good, i am not sure I can committ to anything,
especially on short notice.

if you come back next year can you bring a coldfire board ?
(maybe they'll be running debian by then).

by the way for you BADders: the ports page is a bit misleading
yet as to the status of m68k in debian, although not as bad as it
was (generally misleading): there is an unofficial etch-m68k as
well as an unstable/lenny, (no cd images tho last I checked).

also if anyone has a NeXt around locally that works it would
be interesting to try and get it booted as the next had the good
motorola dsp chip so it seems ...

there have been some interesting events around 68k in the
last year, aranym and emile and coldfire support, as well
as interesting community on the mailing list (much different
than say powerpc ...).
