Did you try printing a recent Knoppix CD and putting it in the drive?
I have no idea whether it will find all your hardware, but it's
harmless and easy to try.  If knoppix boots and finds the hardware you
want it to find, you can allegedly do knx-hdinstall to copy it to the
hard drive.
