Yeah, I'm with you there, minus the javur. I'm also still
running X 4.2.1 until I get a real reason to upgrade (namely built-in
mach64 xvideo support for rage pro agps, which I currently patch in
horribly).

This is my current sources.list on my home workstation (minus deb-src
lines etc):

deb http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/ stable main contrib
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main contrib
deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main contrib

deb http://ftp.acc.umu.se/mirror/mirrors.evilgeniuses.org.uk/debian/backports/woody gnome2.2/
deb http://www.backports.org/debian stable antiword bittorrent freeciv hdparm hotplug modutils mtr nmap rsync vim xpdf cupsys grub lftp xpad gs-esp debconf debhelper gphoto2 iftop mozilla-firebird

It's a pretty nice desktop. I'm quite impressed with GNOME 2.2.
You'd think that since I wrote GAR, I'd be running GARNOME, but I
haven't the stomach for bleeding-edge GUI stuff. If someone puts up
gnome 2.4 backports, I may consider switching.

Does anyone have any better GNOME backports?
