Mildly so, yes.

If FSF, to pick a random example, thinks people would fail to notice and
effectively object to others , say, dropping the word "not" into various
sentences of its rationale statements, it would seem to have a very low
opinion of the home team.  Not that I disapprove of paranoia, but this
instance of it seems particularly dysfunctional.
