Windows porting

I actually find the idea of porting Debian to windows useful and
interesting. I've heard rumours of people having ported dpkg to
windows and I wouldn't mind seeing how they did it, dpkg definitely
relies on a bunch of UNIX specifics which make porting it to a
completely different environment quite non-trivial.

But BAD isn't quite the right forum for it though, since the discussion
is technical and not restricted to the bay area. There actually
is a debian-w32 list though.
