Rick's lost his server for www.linuxmafia.com, and it's likely to be
down for a week or more due to obligations and travel plans.
I've told him that Dimitry has offered to handle aggregating signed
keys and making a signed keyring available.
Please use rick@deirdre.org to contact Rick for the time being.

This e-mail is addressed to all who signed up for the keysigning party
held Saturday at the Linux10 picnic in Sunnyvale, including those who
couldn't make it. (A few other people joined us at the event, saying
they would be sending in signatures. Sadly, I have no idea who they are.)
Saturday afternoon, I came home to the news that linuxmafia.com's main
36 GB hard drive had utterly died. Among the items lost (as being not in
the most recent off-system snapshot) was the keyring and related Web page.
I'm using my printout of the party keyring to look up your addresses.
Another item lost in the drive failure was my presentation for LinuxWorld,
so I'm busy between now and Wednesday morning trying to reconstruct it.
Mail to this address will almost certainly go unanswered until then at the
very earliest.
The system remains off-line on account of hardware shortages and extreme
shortage of time. After my LinuxWorld presntation, I have about five
hours until I'm due to fly out to Philadelphia through the following Sunday.
If I resurrect any form of the system before then, it'll be a miracle.
I do not usually use this e-mail address, and make no commitment to
monitor mail sent here after bringing linuxmafia.com back-on-line (whenever
that happens).
I've reconstructed the keyring from public key sources. For the record,
it's missing the following keys:
Key ID Name Attended?
9B630D84 Danny O'Brien No
C428BD45 Andrew C. Bertola (Drew) No
But since they did not attend, this is not a problem.
You are thus requested to download the party keyring from _this_ box,
at your convenience:
"wget http//deirdre.org/~rick/party/partypubring.gpg"
For each parson whom you've given two checkmarks on the party printout, do
"gpg --keyring ./pubring.gpg ./partypubring.gpg --sign-key name@emailaddress"
Mail back the resulting partypubring.gpg to me at _this_ address,
rick@deirdre.org.
I'll make the merged keyring (with signatures) available as
http://deirdre.org/~rick/party/signedpubring.gpg . But I don't have
a target date, because my schedule is in shambles at the moment.
If anyone knows who else, outside this distribution list, intended to
send signatures, please pass this e-mail along.
