aren't many high end jobs "here" doesn't mean I don't have one of them.
Actually I don't, but for someone my age I'm doing pretty well compared to
everyone else in this city.  And in a few weeks my stock options vest,
and I will be very very happy.

I'm honest.  I call a spade a spade.  And I'm not intimidated by
the social mores of the California police state.  

Now maybe you could be honest with yourself: how many female IT types have 
you met who are worth as much as you were asking for?  How many with your 
level of experience?  I give respect where its due, regardless of to a male
or female.
