Debian benefit - $7k donated to Debian

The Bay Area Linux user's group held a Debian benefit on Tuesday, the
featured speaker was Linus Torvalds. VA and LinuxCare donated $10 per
attendee (plus some extra I think) to Debian, the total donation is
approximatly $7,000. 

LinuxCare also made these posters featuring the new Debian logo, they're
probably the first printed use of it (aside from the free T-shirts given out
to all attendees that also have a tiny version of the logo on the back).

Compare to the infamous Linux Expo posters...

BALUG, LinuxCare and VA all deserve to be thanked for the money and the
publicity.
