Roughly equivilant is not good enough. The stakes are being raised as we type.
Have you seen Lizard? I installed OpenLinux on the same partition as Debian
resides right now, I did it just to watch Lizard, then blew it away to install
Debian.

The millenium is coming, time to change your ways...:-/
